Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
We are very happy about the upcoming retreat, “Fight your way into a better marriage – navigating through conflicts and building unity in our families workshop”, which will be led by family therapist Mrs. Sheila Hynes, MA, LMFT and Fr. Paweł Adamus. We look forward to meeting with our Lord, who we believe, chose this time and place for us. Thank you for registering for this retreat!

Important dates:

The retreat will start on Thursday, May 21 at 6pm with registration/accommodations and a light dinner (pizza), followed by introductions/ice breaker to get to know each other at 7pm, and at around 8pm we will hold the opening Mass.


You can arrive at the retreat center on May 21 starting at 4 pm.
Entrance: Gate No. 7 – main entrance – We will meet in the Chapel – see attached map
End of retreat – approximately 2pm on Monday, May 25
We will start each day with a Liturgy of Hours at 7:30 a.m. sharp.
Meals are tentatively scheduled as: 8am breakfast, 12:30 pm lunch, and 5:30 pm dinner.

We have access to a refrigerator (located in the main meeting space) for storing snacks, baby food, etc.

PACKING LIST:
* Holy Bible, also for older children and youth (in Polish or English),
* Rosary, notebook, pens, (each participant will receive a workbook upon arrival)
* Bed linens (beds are Twin size) or sleeping bag, pillows, towels, toiletries
* Clothes/shoes suitable for Holy Mass

* Clothes/shoes suitable for outdoors/rainwear
* Flashlight/headlight, mosquito repellent, sun cream
* We encourage you to bring your favorite coffee mug (to minimize use of paper cups)
* Families with babies – quiet toys and books for children staying with their parents for conferences and group work
* Activities for family time (e.g., soccer ball, basketball, card games, etc.)
* Guitar/instruments (for those who play instruments)
* Medications for adults or children, if needed (especially for those with allergies)
** For Altar Servers – Altar Server Alb/Cassock/Surplice

*** Washed fruit for snacks for children during classes – each family (only families with kids) is asked to bring one bag of apples, one bag of tangerines, as well as one package of club crackers or cheese sticks. The youngest group of children (3-6) will have snacks prepared by their teachers.
